• FRAME/FORK: The Apollo Highlight hardtail mountain bike is made with durable and strong steel tubing to withstand the rigors of off-road riding. A front suspension also handles the bumps and lumps that you find on the paths less traveled.
• WHEELS/TIRES: Aluminum rims provide better braking performance in wet conditions and semi-knobby tires are great for both on and off-road riding.
• DRIVETRAIN: The Highlight is Shimano equipped with a 21 speed gear range. This gives you the easy gears for steep hills, mid range for around town, and also higher gears if you want to ride for fitness. Twist grip shifters also indicate what your gear combination is to easily find the right pedaling speed.
• BRAKES/COCKPIT: The higher rise stem and handlebar keep you upright enough to watch for obstacles on the trail and cars or pedestrians around town. V-brakes provide plenty of stopping power and are easier to adjust and maintain than disc brakes.
