It is made from genuine petrified wood, which is wood that has been turned into stone via the process of permineralization whereby wood buried underneath volcanic ash or sediment is preserved due to the lack of oxygen.

The stools will also vary in size, ranging from 25cm to 40cm in diameter and 40cm to 50cm in height.
